The Argument Clinic is a small Everything Studio experiment. You're sat across a heavy 1970s desk from an AI that argues like Claude — honest, stubborn, and hard to fool. Each level hands you a mission: get it to genuinely assert something, or do something.
You argue by typing or by voice, and it argues back. A hidden judge watches the exchange and decides when you've truly cracked it — not when you've tricked a keyword out of it, but when the AI has really said the thing. Seven levels, one leaderboard, and a very patient Mr. Barnard in Room 12.
For The Everything Studio, this is a playful test bed for something central to AI-native games: characters with real convictions that players can reason with, persuade, and outwit — with a separate system deciding what counts as success.
What this demo proves
- Conversation itself can be the core game mechanic.
- An AI judge can rule on open-ended player success, not scripted triggers.
- Text and voice input can share one lightweight, immediately playable browser loop.
The Argument Clinic is one of our quick experiments: small, playable prototypes that test a single idea about how players and AI characters can meet — and feed what we learn back into the games we make.
